Tiffany is a practicing occupational therapist who is passionate about helping people connect with themselves on a deeper level. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, but has extensive experience working with pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012.
Tiffany enjoys the process of getting to know each client in order to provide an individualized approach. With her practice influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory, Tiffany prioritizes nervous system regulation and uses a relationship-based approach during her sessions. She frequently uses sensory integration, mindfulness, therapeutic listening programs, reflex integration, top down and bottom up approaches to regulation, and motor learning techniques in her sessions. All while in the context of the individuals daily occupations and developmental level.
Tiffany is trained in the Safe and Sound Protocol, a practical application of Polyvagal Theory, designed to reduce sound sensitivities and improve auditory processing, behavioral state regulation, and social engagement behaviors through specially-filtered music. Tiffany also incorporates her knowledge and experience as a certified yoga, meditation, and breathwork instructor.
Tiffany loves helping clients identify their strengths and empower them with tools to face their challenges. All behavior is communication, and Tiffany is passionate about helping clients peel back the layers to what is underneath outward behaviors.
In her free time Tiffany enjoys quality time with loved ones, yoga, traveling, and photography.
