Merushka Lacey-Bisetty, PsyD

Dr. Merushka Lacey-Bisetty is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has been providing therapy and assessment services to children, teenagers, adults, and families in Santa Barbara County since 2017. She believes in fostering a safe and nurturing environment in which kids and teens are encouraged and guided to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Dr. Lacey-Bisetty provides client-centered, culturally-informed, and evidence-based services using psychodynamic therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. She specializes in diagnosing and treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychosis. In addition to her therapy practice, she conducts forensic psychological assessments for Courts and agencies in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles.

Dr. Lacey-Bisetty was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to Santa Barbara as a teenager. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Family Psychology in 2018 from Antioch University Santa Barbara. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical training at the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness Childrens' Wellness, Recovery, and Resiliency Program and at the Santa Barbara Child Abuse Listening and Mediation (CALM) Intensive In-Home & Whatever It Takes Programs. She completed her post-doctoral clinical training at the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness Resiliency Interventions for Sexual Exploitation and Forensic Services Justice Alliance Programs.

Dr. Lacey-Bisetty enjoys baking, taking care of her many plants, cuddling with her dog, and scrolling on TikTok.
