I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in Pasadena and Mental Health Division Co-Director at The Center for Connection. With experience as a therapist, teacher, pastor, and hospital chaplain, I have worked with a wide range of children, teens, adults, and families for over 20 years. Because I believe that our lives are built on relationships, I utilize an attachment perspective in my work. Be it between parent and child, partner and partner, supervisor and employee, or peer and peer, relationships can be healing and rewarding, but they can also be painful and difficult. We all know the stress and heartache that can come from a relationship in distress and we all know that desperate, painful feeling of wanting relief. Helping people find their way through these difficulties and back to each other is one of the most rewarding and exciting things I do.

I specialize in supporting parents, especially moms, as they journey through the joys and challenges of parenthood. I am certified by the Perinatal Advisory Council to support maternal mental health including postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. I also have a special heart for individuals and couples dealing with fertility/infertility. Being a parent has given me an understanding of the struggles parents and those who long to be parents go through. My practice also includes working with Asian Americans, interracial couples, and multi-ethnic families.

I hold a Master of Science in Marital & Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary School of Psychology and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. I live in southern California with my husband and my three lively sons.

Call me.  We can figure it out together.
