Barry Davis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a decade of experience, specializing in attachment-based and psychodynamic therapy. He integrates mindfulness and interpersonal neurobiology into his approach, fostering a compassionate and supportive space for clients to explore their unique experiences.

Barry is particularly passionate about working with couples, adults, parents, and teenagers, helping them identify and address negative patterns hindering their growth. He specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA+ concerns, creating a safe and affirming environment for all.

Barry's professional background includes extensive experience at the Maple Counseling Center, where he received intensive training in relational Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This training equipped him with the skills to help clients navigate difficult emotions and improve communication.

As an academic coach at the Kortschak Center (USC), Barry provided social emotional support, organizational skills, and mentorship to neurodivergent students. He also served as a crisis counselor at Cedar Siani's Teen Line and the Didi Hirsch Help Hotline, offering immediate support to individuals in distress. His community leadership role at Teach for America involved advocating for educational equity and social justice.

Committed to lifelong learning, Barry continues to expand his knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education. He has recently completed courses in telemental health, substance abuse, and interpersonal neurobiology, further enhancing his ability to provide effective psychotherapy.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Barry enjoys playing music, cheering on the LA Dodgers, and practicing mindfulness through activities like yoga, chess, and cooking.
